The 'Hack'

A poster defining contemporary textile lines.

The piece is called "The Hack," an inspired piece that came from the Sci-Fi movie 'The Matrix' that was based in 1999. The artist did not want to make it noticeable by adding numbers that looked like it was coding something on a computer screen, but to recreate it with a textile pattern of lines that make it appear unreadable. Instead of adding numbers, letters from the artists last name were added as her signature. 

The textile pattern lines falling were also inspired by 'Christopher Farr Cloth,' which was created by Michael Silver with partners Christopher Farr and Matthew Bourne.
